Where Are MBOX Files Stored?

Each email client stores MBOX files differently. Here's where to find yours.

Mozilla Thunderbird

Files have NO extension

Windows location:

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\[random].default\Mail\Local Folders\

What to look for:

Files named Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash (no extension). Each is an MBOX file. Folders also have .sbd directories containing subfolders.

Export method:
