We migrate from all MDaemon Mail Server versions including MDaemon 21.x (latest), 20.x, 19.x, 18.x and older legacy versions. We support both MDaemon Pro and MDaemon Standard editions, including installations with SecurityGateway, WorldClient webmail and Outlook Connector.

We migrate MDaemon to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online), Google Workspace (Gmail), Exchange Server (on-premises 2013-2019), Zimbra, Zoho Mail and other IMAP-compatible platforms. We also support MDaemon-to-MDaemon migrations for upgrades or server consolidation, plus export to PST/MBOX/EML files.

The lot: every message with its attachments, folder trees as the users built them, address books, calendars including the recurring entries, tasks, notes and the mailing lists. Flags, read state and timestamps come across too, courtesy of the .mrk data most tools skip.

How fast depends on how much. Offices under 50 mailboxes finish in about 3 days, mid-size servers of 50 to 200 need a week and anything larger runs as scheduled waves. The final delta is minutes long and can land on a Saturday night if that suits you.

Effectively none. Users stay on MDaemon while the bulk of the history copies across. The switch itself is one short delta plus an MX change, usually scheduled outside office hours. Most staff find out it happened by email.

The entry rate is $15 per mailbox, easing to $12 past 25 seats and $10 past 100, with negotiated terms above 500. Public folders, the delta passes and the verification counts are all inside that number. The server assessment beforehand is free.

Yes. We migrate public folders including shared email folders, shared contacts, shared calendars and company resources. For Microsoft 365 destinations, these become Shared Mailboxes or Microsoft 365 Groups. Permissions may need to be reconfigured on the destination platform.

Typically yes - we need admin-level access to efficiently migrate all mailboxes. Options include: MDaemon admin API access, IMAP access with admin credentials or direct access to MDaemon user store directories. We can also work with per-user IMAP access if required.

Yes, we migrate those. MDaemon mailing lists are converted to appropriate destination equivalents - Microsoft 365 Distribution Groups, Google Groups or equivalent. We export member lists and recreate them on the target platform. Some advanced mailing list features may need manual configuration.

WorldClient users transition to the destination platform's webmail: Outlook Web Access for Microsoft 365, Gmail for Google Workspace or equivalent. We provide user guides and can conduct brief training sessions. The transition is typically smooth as modern webmail interfaces are user-friendly.

Yes, typically. After migration, email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, mobile apps) need to be reconfigured to connect to the new platform. For M365, this is often automatic with modern Outlook. We provide step-by-step guides for all common email clients and can assist with desktop reconfiguration.

Yes. We can migrate archived emails from MDaemon's archiving feature. Archives can be migrated to the user's mailbox, to a separate archive mailbox or exported to PST files for compliance retention. We discuss archive migration strategy during assessment.

No problem. We migrate multi-domain MDaemon installations. All domains can be migrated to the same destination tenant (M365/Google) or to separate destinations as needed. Domain routing and aliases are handled during the cutover process.

It is. Every transfer is TLS encrypted, we will sign your NDA before the first byte moves and our working copies are destroyed once you sign off on the counts. Message content is never read by a person; the process runs on structure and totals.

Point delivery at the new platform and let the old MDaemon idle for a few weeks as a reference copy. Once everyone agrees nothing is missing, retire it at leisure. We changed nothing on it, so it keeps whatever value it had.

An MDaemon migration service takes a whole MDaemon Email Server (on-premises or hosted) and moves its mailboxes into Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange or another platform. Done properly it covers messages, address books, calendars, tasks, mailing lists and shared folders, keeps read state via the server's .mrk data, runs delta passes for mail that arrives mid-project and closes with per-mailbox verification counts. The difference from a converter tool is that engineers plan, execute and verify the whole move.

Look at what surrounds the mail. A converter tool plus the Users folder handles a small server whose complexity is mailboxes and nothing else. Mailing lists, Connector deployments, shared calendars, multiple domains or hundreds of accounts are where tool-only migrations quietly drop things. That work is why the service exists.
